  Client for many years. Gave the office plenty of advance verbal notice that auto policy was going to be cancelled in favour of going with another insurer. Got rude answering message from Heather that we had not forwarded a signed form officially cancelling our auto policy. Form was in the mail system. Saved $1,000 going with another insurer that covers 4 drivers. Will cancel my home insurance with All State when it comes up for renewal.

  I have been a client with Allstate for over 20 years thru my many move across Canada and have only the most positive experience. I recently had the most helpful assistance dealing with Heather at the Guelph office, she kept me informed for each step during a difficult event. This is the kind of people you appreciate dealing with.

  If I could rate it as minus a star, I would. I have been insured by this company for years and one time my credit card was blocked and payment did not go through, they charged me $50 NSF per policy for the total on $100. Then charged me beginning of June (before the paperwork for renewal came in mail) for the month of July. Charge happens instantly, refund takes 3 weeks. Manager/owner told me that there is nothing he would be willing to do and I can complain to FSCO all I want.
