  I was charged $900 but walked out the shop feeling satisfied which I don't know why. Probably because the mechanic that did the repair (I think his name is Joe) looked honest and explained what was wrong and what needs to be fixed. I would've given them a 4 star if they had diagnosed the problem with my a/c properly the first time. Not after they took down my bumper that they realized its a leak with the condenser and not only the expansion valve that they first diagnosed as being the problem.

  Auto Cool repaired the AC in my SAAB two years ago which had a sticking valve in the compressor and low refrigerant gas - the bill as I recall was about $135 and they did it while I waited - two years later its still blowing ice cold. Today I took my '04 BMW convertible in for no A/C - dropped it off in the a.m. and before 10 am they called me and said it was just low in refrigerant and I could pick it up repaired in 20 minutes! - are you kidding? What shop gets work done that fast? Total bill 150 bucks - this is the best auto service place I've ever dealt with. I'll be doing other service there in the future beyond A/C repairs. A/C repairs need not be scary when you deal with Auto Cool!

  Auto Cool was recommended to me by Ron at Access Auto and I can see why. Auto Cool has very friendly, professional staff. They identified the problem with my AC quickly and correctly. I dropped my car off Friday morning and by Saturday morning my condenser (which is a fairly substantial job) was fixed and working very well.

  I love Auto Cool Garage on Dawson! The owner is so helpful and they make some of their own parts so some things cost a lot less to save your money. They are honest, qualified and professional. The receptionist is friendly and efficient.
