Although I only worked with one trainer (Adrian) he was clearly not educated about working with physical illness/injury. He did not listen to my needs nor did he acknowledge the level of fitness I am working at. I am aware that this is strenuous fitness, but there still must be a SAFE progression within each skill set. Rather than listening to my limitations, he chose to berate me ("we have much older members that can do that") and rather than accepting that I did not wish to hurt myself by doing advanced moves he lectured me about "trying". The final nail in the coffin was touching me without asking... cardinal rule fellas, when working with either a male or female client you MUST ASK to place your hands on them. I have worked out in many environments, this one left me with nothing but a dislocated finger and aching knees.. NONE of the good pain to gain feelings. Also, the other members were really haughty. Too bad, it's a great space filled with old school but amazing gear, and it's in a great location.
