  Had dinner there last night - best food to date! Service was amazing, Joselyn always has a smile on her face and is eager to help you anyway she can. Steak was cook exactly the way we wanted. Arrived to the table fresh and hot! Will be back soon!

  The prime rib was cooked properly (med rare) but had a strange texture almost like pork cottage roll. Still good but not enough taste or fat IMO. Perhaps that is the current style of prime rib but its not my style .... perfectly edible though.

  Perhaps the affluent are happy paying 30+ dollars for a plate of prime rib and not getting any vegetables but I'm not. The prime rib was a fairly big piece but see above. I would have preferred a smaller piece and some fresh grilled vegetables.

  Always look forward to going to the keg and they always deliver excellent results! Definitely recommend the steak and shrimp plate. Love that they have mini dessert options instead of full size so you can get a variety. I would avoid the Asiago rice as an accompaniment..rice tasted stale and old with absolutely no flavor. Other than that everything was perfect!

  Definitely lived up to expectations. I came in looking for a perfectly cooked piece of NY strip and, lo and behold, I got a perfectly cooked piece of NY strip. Restaurant interior is beautiful and Holly was great to our table. Amazing experience.

  I had the pistachio crusted salmon and subbed the Brussels sprouts for green beans. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted AMAZING. Service was the best I've ever had. My drink was yummy as well. Restaurant was clean, had dark lighting though.

  However the biggest issue with the meal was the dessert. I ordered a cheesecake and what I got was on par with the cheap supermarket mix it yourself and let it sit to gel variety. President's Choice cheesecake is a work of art compared to what was served ..... perhaps that is what the The Keg thinks cheesecake should have a taste and texture like ..... I guess PC should redo their recipe now ....

  The Keg is usually a bit above my price bracket but I had a gift card so I finally tried the one in Guelph
